Our team is what separates us from our competition. Each team Manager has years of experience working in the Twin Cities real estate and construction industry. Each of our Managers is passionate about Minneapolis-St. Paul Urban Development. Our cities are improving with each completed project.

Don Gerberding — Principal
Area of Expertise: Engineering and SiteWork Construction / Urban Development / City Entitlements

Bio:   Mr. Gerberding is the founder and a Principal of Master Properties Minnesota, LLC. His experience spans over 30 years of commercial construction, site-work engineering & design, real estate development, property and building acquisitions, financing, leasing and brokerage sales and is a licensed real estate broker in Minnesota. Mr. Gerberding has been responsible for over 30 development and construction projects in the city of Minneapolis in a variety of commercial, retail, office, restaurant, and multi-family housing projects.

Prior to founding Master, Don was the President of Belair Companies West Office in Denver Colorado with responsibility for creating a Site-work and Heavy Excavation Division for Belair Companies. From 1977 to 1996, Mr. Gerberding was the founder and President of Master Asphalt Company, a highway-heavy/commercial paving and site development contractor. Don also founded Master Parking Systems, Inc. a pavement design and engineering firm.

Mr. Gerberding received a BA degree from the University of Minnesota, an MBA Certificate from the College of St. Thomas, Post-Graduate Real Estate Program Certificate from Harvard University and completion of the Bituminous Technology Program from the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Don was also a Navy Pilot, Navy Flight Instructor, and Maintenance Test Pilot. Don lives in south Minneapolis and is married with two children and grandchildren.


Brian Nieting — Accounting
Area of Expertise: Project Financial Analysis, Project Accounting, Business Accounting

Bio:   Mr. Nieting is the Accountant for Master Properties Minnesota LLC. He has 30 year’s experience in the construction industry as a Cost and Financial Accountant. His responsibilities include all project and company accounting functions and providing property management duties for buildings that Master Properties oversees.

Mr. Nieting has a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Cloud State University with a concentration in Accounting. Brian lives in Bloomington Minnesota with his wife and two boys.

Elizabeth Liebhard — Project Manager

Bio:   Ms. Liebhard is a Project Manager for Master Properties Minnesota, LLC. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies.

Ms. Liebhard came to Master in September of 2012 as an intern and joined the team full-time in February of 2013. Her responsibilities include managing multiple projects during every stage of development. She works with clients to determine project feasibility through site research and financial modeling. Ms. Liebhard also coordinates and facilitates project team meetings with owners, architects, engineers and other consultants at various stages of the development and construction processes as well as works with City staff to complete entitlements in the approvals process. She also provides backup accounting and property management services to the Accounting and Property Management departments.


Aubrie Eisenhart — Project Manager

Bio:   Ms. Eisenhart is a Project Manager at Master Properties. Her responsibilities include researching and applying for funding for projects and managing an eclectic portfolio of projects through every stage of development. She holds a Master's degree in Building and Urban Design in Development from University College London in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Master Ms. Eisenhart worked in the management side of affordable housing. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute of Minnesota and Emerging Professionals in Community Development.
